Dodge Turns to Tuners for Caliber

Chrysler's Dodge division has just introduced the Caliber SRT4 and is turning to the tuner market to promote it. A new promotion features a 250-word essay contest answering the questions, "Why ar you ar your significant other tuned out?" and "How will an all-new Dodge Caliber SRT4 help you or your significant other tune back in?" The promotion is based on the premise that the SRT series is so advanced it never needs tuning, so the owner can pay attention to all the people they have been neglecting in favor of superchargers, nitrous oxide tanks and oversized woofers. The promo is centered on DodgeRUTunedOut.com--a play on words referring to people who are so into their vehicles they neglect their human relationships.

Dodge is just one of several automakers using this month's SEMA show in Las Vegas to roll out factory-tuned cars and trucks. Contact the Chrysler Group regional sales office for local promotion of the Caliber SRT4.
